The $60 Spark That Changed Everything
Growing up in Jalingo, Taraba State, life was shaped by the realities of living in a place rich in potential but often overlooked. My parents, Dr. Mrs. Christie S. Zaku and Mr. Fred Taki Zaku, always encouraged me to strive for more and think beyond our immediate circumstances.
As a teenager, a friend showed me a $60 Google AdSense check. That small moment was my turning point. I didn’t even own a computer. Using my mother’s phone, I created my first blog, Zakxloaded. I copied and pasted news, not knowing a single thing about SEO.
Four years later, after running and closing several websites, I began mastering Content Marketing and SEO. I realized that African businesses were losing millions not because of bad products, but because of Digital Silence.
Why “Ibi” Foundry?
The name IbiFoundry is deeply personal. I chose “Ibi” in honor of my hometown in Taraba State. It is a symbol of untapped potential. The word “Foundry” represents a place where raw materials are forged into something powerful.
At the heart of IbiFoundry Limited is a desire to empower the next generation. I want to show the world the power of Nigerian talent. We are not just bystanders in the global economy—we are creators, innovators, and disruptors.
